  Jim Baldridge has been the chief news anchor at WHIO-TV Channel 7 since 1988 when the late Don Wayne retired.
  Baldridge first began working at the station in 1972. A graduate of Sinclair Community College and Wright State University, he held broadcasting jobs in Lima and Springfield before returning to Dayton in 1970 to work for Channel 2. Two years later he moved to Channel 7.
  Baldridge celebrated his 25th year with WHIO in 1997.
